Description
In September, Texas District 98 House Representative, Giovanni Capriglione whose district comprises the city of Grapevine, and the museum district, visited the IPAT museum to view the Texas Western Heritage Exhibit. He and his staff were involved with approving funding for successful IPAT grants through the Texas Commission on the Arts.
Following his visit, I was honored to be asked to paint this Christmas Ornament on behalf of IPAT to represent his district this year. The ornament will be displayed in the House Chamber in the Texas Capital from December 1, 2023, through January 2, 2024. The ornament will then be photographed and catalogued in the annual House Chamber photo album as well as archived on the web.
